New: One Workout Saved as Two Files
- When a watch or bike computer saves one workout as two files after a pause or a restart, the workout's page says "Another workout 4 min later". Tap it to see both parts, then "These are one workout" joins them. Undo splits them again.
- "Show as a separate workout" holds: a later cleanup no longer joins the two again.
Improved: Prepare Fuel
- Tap a product's amount to switch its unit, the way the Speed Nectar numbers already work. The minus and plus buttons sit in one row.
- One tap on a kitchen carb amount walks Cups, Cups + Tbsp, Tbsp and Grams, and your choice is kept for every workout.
- Products you add start at 1 each when they fit the plan.
- Screen readers name and work the minus, plus, delete, scan and info buttons.
Improved: Kitchen Measures
- In the UK, Ireland and most of Europe, the Kitchen Measures switch is gone. Kitchen carbs still start in grams, and cups (250 mL) are one tap away. If you turned cups on in 1.2.22, you keep them at the size you set.
- With Japanese kitchen measures, granulated sugar is named in your app language. Portuguese without a region uses Brazilian kitchen measures, and Spanish numbers follow each Latin American country's format.
Improved: Products and Scanning
- When a barcode scan finds a product, its confirmation opens as a sheet with thin lines between the choices, and the two preset choices start unchecked.
- Review & Confirm keeps the label's carbohydrate, fiber and any listed sugar alcohols, with a separate Net carbs box that follows your edits. Carbs are counted the way each label's country prints them.
- Tap the camera view to focus it. A camera that can't start offers Try Again, and after you delete a photo the next camera asks for that photo.
- Back no longer loses a scan, and a failed photo keeps its preview.
- Add Product says when a search has no matches and offers to add the product.
- Products found through search stay in Recently used and Presets & Favorites, and a new search never shows the last search's results.
- Creating a product no longer starts with a type to pick: Saturday reads the type from the name, and asks "What type of product is this?" only when it can't tell.
- Energy bar is now a product type, with a bar icon, and energy waffles and electrolyte licks get new icons.
- Plans saved before September 19 with Skratch Super High-Carb show the right scoop count.
Improved: Workouts
- Leaving an edited workout asks Save, Discard or Keep editing.
- Done after Prepare Fuel sends your plan to intervals.icu or TrainingPeaks from every page.
- A workout you deleted stays deleted through the next sync, and a workout you move to another day stays on that day.
- Planned intervals.icu workouts keep their distance, and TrainingPeaks workouts planned by distance are timed from your pace.
- A planned workout that arrives twice reads as done when you complete either copy.
- Skip the usual pace question and it waits twice as long before asking again.
- Edit names the duration range, 5 minutes to 36 hours, for every sport. New strength sessions start at 30 minutes, and triathlon durations stay put when you go back.
Improved: Look and Feel
- Profile, Preferences, Personalize, Personal Paces and the sign-in pages use rounded cards with thin inset lines.
- Messages float as a pill above Home's Add row and above the keyboard, instead of a bar behind the buttons.
- Tap a Home tab or the logo again to scroll back to the top.
- Add Product's tabs slide over like a swipe, and Add Event and Add Training fit small screens.
- The iPhone edge swipe works on more screens, and on Personalize it saves like Back.
- The custom product editor keeps its teal color from the rounded top to the bottom edge.
Improved: Settings
- Each Personal Pace opens on its own page with Save right under the field.
- Age lists run to 90, and the sweat info explains its slider.
- Personalize's chemistry row is now "Chemistry", and its question asks how much you enjoy analytical chemistry.
- Raising Max Carbs keeps your higher carb answers, and Undo puts back exactly what you had.
- Customize Avatar keeps up to three color sets and two photos. Tap one to wear it on all your devices, and the colors you pick now show in place of your Google photo.
Improved: Show and Tell
- When a hand-off doesn't land, the recovery screen lists your next steps in one rounded list, and Android's Back goes Home instead of closing the app.
Fixed
- Onboarding no longer stops at the weight step on a phone set to a language the app has no number format for, such as Norwegian Nynorsk.
- Closing the Apple or Google sign-in window, in any language, no longer shows an error, and a wrong password says so.
- iPhone permission prompts for the camera, Face ID and location read in your language.
- With large text, Prepare Fuel amounts no longer lose a digit (750 mL of water read as 75 mL), and the Sweat, Duration and intensity captions stay whole.
- A dialog no longer crashes the app when the page that opened it changes.
- Opening a workout whose merged copy was deleted no longer waits ten seconds.
- A workout missing its sport, opened from a link, goes to the step that asks for the missing details instead of an empty plan screen.
- Undo and other message buttons run their action once.
- Japanese messages stay on screen as long as English ones, and FAQ questions show in full in every language.
- A product picked from search results no longer disappears when you tap Add Selected.
- After you allow location, the weather strip loads right away.
- On iPhone, VoiceOver lands on the quick rating buttons after a workout.
- After you sign out, Sign back in no longer loops through the TrainingPeaks welcome page.
Under the Hood
- On Android, the app no longer collects the advertising ID.
- TrainingPeaks shows its current logo, and the weather strip names its source, OpenWeather.
